Biography
goyoson is an installation and sculpture artist who creates “sculptures that change depending on who experiences them and how.” He explores the mutable potential of sculpture and contemplates the conditions of mobility in contemporary sculptural practice. From hand-carved, informel forms to works made with perishable materials such as food, he varies his use of materials and textures to expand the expressive range of sculpture. While pursuing processual sculptures that transform over time, he also investigates the materiality and modes of existence inherent to the sculptural medium.
