Biography
Leeje explores the possibilities of expanding the medium of painting to capture the affective dynamics of contemporary life. Through vivid and tangible imagery, she renders the interplay between everyday experiences and dreamlike imagination within an uncertain world.

For her, ‘painting’ is an event that senses the ambiguity of existence and a field of resonance that connects with external reality. ‘The practice of painting’ is a means of momentarily retreating from an expanding and fragmenting world, seeking to engage with various subjects and their temporal and spatial dimensions.
