Biography
Kwanwoo Park's practice explores how reality and identity are "invented" rather than merely perceived. He treats the world not as a set of fixed objective facts, but as an ensemble of "plausible stories" continually generated to fill voids in information and memory. Consequently, his work seeks not to distinguish truth from falsehood, but to expose the mechanisms through which belief attains the status of reality.

Appropriating clinical concepts from medicine and psychology-such as confabulation, collective psychodrama, and the exclusive event-the artist engineers the viewing experience itself into a cognitive science experiment, questioning how we process and construct our realities.
