Biography
Woo Min-jung has built her artistic world by developing techniques centered on the surface effects of clay. She works by forming clay slabs and using them as a boundary between herself and the world, repeatedly carving into and applying color to express what she wishes to convey. Her work explores themes of reality and ideal, the fleeting and the eternal, the boundaries in between, and the struggle of living within those spaces.
