Biography
Haena Yoo investigates tensions between the body, environment, and systems through operative installations that combine fermentation, scent, vibration, liquid, and apparatus. Her practice asks how structures such as care, production, and infrastructure regulate sensory and bodily states, in the prism of the circulation that evokes failure, control and entropy. The installations construct an ecology of instability that exceeds the system through the continuous exchange between body, matter, and environment, in which smell, sound, and movement intersect, drawing the viewer's body into entanglement with processes.
