Youngjoo Cho is a Seoul-based artist who has worked in Paris and Berlin. In the meantime she has presented performance, installation, photography, video, sound, and dance in a variety of exhibitions and projects.

She has been interested in the theme of ‘Korean women in Korean society’ and has worked on the issue ‘irrationalities and inconveniences of social structures’. Cho has also been realizing performative projects that utilize children, teenagers, and middle-aged women and deal with gender issues, female identity, and female body images.
