Biography
Suji Han explores new pathways between digital and physical space through hybrid entities. Focusing on the reproducibility of digital space, interspecies boundaries, and points of translation and mistranslation that emerge between physical and digital
realms, her work reveals the reconfiguration of sensory organs and conditions of existence through speculative simulation at the intersection of science and
pseudo-science, fact and fiction. Working across para-scientific video, media installation, sound, performance, and sculptural forms, she investigates the hybridity of life and information, sensation and data. Her recent research centers on Xenon Skin, which extends the evolution of sensory organs to the surface of the skin, examining sensory
transference and the dismantling of the political body.
