International Artist Exchange Program

, ,
Since 2011, the international artist exchange program transitioned from the basic level of artist exchanges to that of a project execution method as we began asking international exchange institutions to select artists to work and reside at Seoul Art Space_Geumcheon in order to produce new work for our advanced exhibitions.

According to the preferences of the emerging artists in or near their thirties whom Seoul Art Space_Geumcheon accepts into its program for rich art world discourses, exchanges with experts and exhibition opportunities at influential venues, we have reinforced our list of exchange partners in hub cities of the art world such as New York in response. In 2013 we will take a multi-faceted approach to the methods of our inter-institutional exchanges by trial running an ISCP participation support program, holding collaboratively curated exhibitions with institutions with whom we exchange artists, and supporting international critiques, etc.
