Biography
Jiwon Yang uses drawing as her main medium. Yang uses this medium to perform ritualistic actions that are familiar to her, such as sketching and writing. These actions create alternations of the sculptural and linguistic elements of her subjects’ forms. Through this process, the artist shines a light on the visual transformative process of an element shifting from one form to another.
